I just want to do my last MIL GRACIAS to all of you as I end the “campaign trail” at TLA in Dallas. I encourage you to vote if you already haven’t, and to encourage your ALA colleagues and friends to vote. They have until APRIL 24th [THURSDAY] to cast their votes.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed — this is not going to be an easy election. Again, many, many thanks to all of you for your support!

As an Academic Librarian from Puerto Rico, I believe that Camila can understand our struggles, status and cultural differences and something about it. Our Librarians need great support to deal with all the issues that academic, school, public and specialized libraries in Puerto Rico are dealing with today. Her knowledge, background, interest, commitment with Latinos, broader perspective of the cultural changes among other, is the key ingredients I am looking for…. ¡Por lo tanto Camile tienes mi voto!
